What is Revolt★Riot exactly?
We are a new streetwear brand that focuses on riot culture. We love the imagery and the message that the riot mentality conjures and want to express that in our apparel.
What kind of apparel?
Well we’re grass roots and just starting out so we’re starting out with t-shirts and then hoodies. Our goal is to bring quality over quantity products to the masses, something many streetwear brands do not seem to adhere to anymore.
Where can I see this stuff?
You can visit our store here, we’ll be launching our first line of t-shirts in early 2011. Watch the blog for pictures of the new line as well as some giveaways.
What kind of influences shaped this brand?
Obviously if you have seen our blog it’s evident that the culture of rioting is a big part of that. As is current trends in streetwear and skatewear, tagging, graffiti, propaganda and street art, anarchy in general. Basically, if it’s unfiltered creativity, then we dig it.
Is it illegal to sell real riot gear?
It is illegal to distribute police gear in certain countries, yes. When we say we sell ‘riot gear’ we’re more on the side of the protesters than the police. We’ll be selling clothing such as hoodies and bandannas to help you riot if needed.
Where is Revolt★Riot based out of?
We are currently designing our products in Vancouver, B.C. but will be moving our distribution down to San Francisco sometime in 2011.
